Another positive week Falcons! Well done!

Here are some of the highlights from the week:

Today Mrs Beck came to school to teach the children about crossing the road safely. Falcons listened beautifully and shared some fantastic ideas.

Falcons have been working very hard in maths. They have been counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and have been fantastic at finding 1 less from a number up to 10.

We used role-play to explore the events of the great fire of London. Falcons acted out being fire-people in 1666 with lots of enthusiasm! The children were shocked when they found out about fire safety equipment in 1666, particularly the fire hooks!

Falcons have really impressed me with their phonic knowledge this week. We have continued to read and write words that contain the /ae/ sound in Sounds Write.
