This week in Hawks we have been finishing our narrative pieces in English and have been working on a whole school hot write, based on the book Tuesday. In maths we have been continuing to focus on decimals and have been looking at dividing one and two digit numbers by 10 and 100. In History we have been focusing on Who King Alfred is and making a one page profile about him. We have also loved athletics and tennis in PE! In Science we have planned our experiment for next week and have been looking at how Jews support charities in RE. In music we have been creating our own body percussion pieces by using our hands to create noise. 

Star of the Week:

There was no celebration assembly this week due to Year 2's class assembly.
