This week we have loved our Geography lessons! We have been learning about our local area and even had a Geography walk around our local village, Yatton Keynell. We saw lots of human and physical features and even learnt about the origin of Yatton Keynell's name and how it changed over time. 

In maths this week we have been continuing to look at place value and used that knowledge to decode Roman Numerals! In English this week we have been continuing our focus on writing instructions. We have explored what features in a set of instructions and have been focusing on how to improve our quality of writing. 

Star of the week:

Our star this week is ... Orion! Orion has shown a positive attitude this week in school and with his learning. Well done Orion!

Reminders for next week:

- PE days are Monday and Friday. 

- Please bring in reading records each day and read 5x per week at home. 

- Home learning is sent out each Friday stuck to EMT sheets. 

- Next Friday is Hawks cake sale! Some parent helpers and cake donations will be needed for this to run after school :) thanks in advance!
