We've rounded off our learning for the term and included some Christmas activities! We are all ready for a well-deserved Christmas break. 

Kestrels loved answering their big question in science and showcasing their learning from the autumn term. They created wonderful posters/two-page spreads all about ‘What are things made from and why?’

We really enjoyed our computing unit on photography this term. We finished it off by looking at how effects can be added to change a photo. We used the editing tool on the iPads to add colour filters to our photos and/or change the brightness and saturation. The children loved exploring all the different tools you can use to change a photo that they just took.

Christmas dinner was a big hit this week and we all loved eating our Christmas dinners together wearing our Christmas hats we made. The food was delicious!

This term we have created an end of term newsletter to celebrate all the fun things we have done this term. Please look for this in your child’s bag and on the Class Letters page to see all the amazing things we have got up to during the Autumn Term.

Reminders:

• PE days for Term 3 are Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Please bring in reading books and reading records every day and read 5 times a week at home. Remember an adult needs to sign the reading records.
• Spellings will come home on Monday. Please practice these every day at home ready for our spelling test on Fridays.
• Practice your times-tables on TTRockstars using the login stuck in your reading record.
