Spring 1 Week 5

This week we have been celebrating Children's Mental Health Week!

We have been looking at what our mental health is and what makes it feel not so good and things that make us feel better. We have celebrated things that we are grateful for and spoke about what is important to us and what makes us feel happy. We are going to carry these thoughts with us through each week to ensure that we can understand our mental health.

We have started our measurement unit this week and have started looking at metres and kilometres. We have compared measurements and looked at equivalent measurements. We have also been continuing our diary writing features to help better our writing. In history we learnt all about the pyramids and why they were made! We also loved doing our biscuit tasting in DT, researching what we would like to include in our own biscuit designs.

Star of the week:

This week our star of the week is ... William! William always works very hard and is supportive of other people. Well done William!

Things to remember:

- Next week is the last week of term.

- PE days are Monday and Friday.

- Reading records each day please (lots are missing when reading with adults).

- Please read 5x weekly.
