Week 5
Week commencing 04/05/20
Welcome to week 5 of your home learning, Ospreys! I hope you had a relaxing and fun filled weekend. This week is a bit different because on Friday it is a special bank holiday to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day. I have set the learning around this event as our history and art focus for the week. I have also included an e-safety activity.
I hope you managed to look at the link I shared last week from the EEF about the importance of having some routine to your home learning. It makes it easier to stay motivated and keep up with the work. In my house, we have home learning in the morning and then have a more relaxed afternoon. What routine works best for you? Maybe you can share your top tips with the class.
I loved getting emails from you in reply to my Monday message - I even got a photo of the cutest chicken in the world! Thank you so much for getting back to me. It is important to keep in contact with each other. We are still Ospreys Class, a fantastic team, even when we can't be together physically. I will email you all again this week to let you know what I am up to and I am looking forward to hearing all about your adventures too! I will also contact your parents on Wednesday as usual just to check that everything is OK.
Keep smiling and look after yourselves,
Mrs Whiston
