Monday 29th June
Hello Hawks,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend?
Thank you for all your emails this week and for sending me your fabulous wax resist pictures. I have not uploaded them to the gallery yet, I will add them by the end of today. I still have a number of emails to reply, I have not forgotten you it's just been a very busy time in school this last week. I have been busy preparing the information to send to you for when you come into school on Wednesday 15th July (I can't wait to see you!)
You will have noticed over the last two weeks I have set you less work to complete at home, that is because you have worked so hard with your home learning and if you were in school under normal circumstances we would have had things like sports day and a school trip and usually in the Summer term learning does look a little different to the rest of the year.
If you have not accessed the BBC Bitesize learning hub, I have put the link onto the front page of the home learning for this week, and have attached a timetable of Year 4 hub links this week for you to access if you need/ or want to do some additional learning.
So, for week 12, keep up with your MyMaths, some of you have large gaps, most of you are on track and have completed all your MyMaths so far, so well done. Enjoy the English video clip The Wishgranter, and I hope you take some time out for some PSHE and Art "reflection time." It's really important we all take time to look back and evaluate and process and accept our highs and lows, acknowledge our achievements and recognise it's okay to have had some struggles along the way and still have "tricky bits."
As always, look after yourselves and have a good week. The countdown is on....two and a bit weeks until Wednesday 15th July when we can check in, catch up and meet FACE to FACE!
Keep smiling,
Mrs Willoughby
