This week in Hawks we have been diving further into our learning of Anglo-Saxons, Judaism and States of matter. We have enjoyed starting our learning in History and learnt about who the Anglo-Saxons were. We have also been exploring states of matter and what a liquid, solid and gas is. In Maths we are adding and subtracting fractions and in English we are creating newspaper reports with intriguing headlines and focusing on what a newspaper report looks like when we write one. 

Star of the Week:

As it was Year 5's class assembly this week, there is no star of the week this week. 

Reminders:

• Next Wednesday is our optional parents evening to discuss the report given last week. 
• Reading records and books each day. 
• Water bottles in each day.
