Autumn 2 Week 4

This week we have been focusing on our times tables and consolidating our understanding. We have also been exploring multiples of a number and seeing how they relate to the times tables. This week in Geography we have learnt all about volcanoes and how they were created. We loved learning about their creation, risks and the science behind them. We have also been continuing our narrative writing to prepare us for our whole school hot write next week!

Forest School:

This week we enjoyed another Forest School session of the year with Mr Summers. This week we enjoyed making our own dens using resources. We had to work as a team to make sure that our dens stayed up and were cosy and homely. We ended our session with a wonderful campfire and marshmallows!

Each week in Hawks we focus on one of our British Values to ensure that we really know what they are and how to demonstrate them. This week our focus has still been on the rule of law! We are making sure that we fully understand the importance of following the rules to keep ourselves and others safe.Star of the week:

This week we didn't have a star of the week as it was Year 6's class assembly. We will wait to hear who is our next star next week :).

Reminders for next week:

- PE days are Tuesday and Friday.

- Please bring in reading records each day and read 5x per week at home.

- Home learning is sent out each Friday. Please check bags for this!

- Next Thursday is our school Christmas production!

- Next Friday is our Santa Run!

Have a nice weekend :).
