We have had our first week back after half term and all of Kestrels have come back with smiles on their faces and a positive attitude to learning!

We have jumped straight back in to learning about money in maths and started exploring and writing letters in English. The children are able to identify features of a letter as well as contribute ideas to a whole class letter which we wrote! 

The children have enjoyed learning about Islam in RE and they have been identifying and discussing the similarities and differences between Muslim and Christian prayer.

We had an exciting trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park! The children were all well behaved and loved seeing all the different animals and habitats which links to our topic in Science. Some highlights were seeing the giraffes, penguins and lions! The children even saw some animals they had never heard of before, such as a laughing kookaburragh and a black tailed prarie dog! We had some very tired children by the end of the day and a massive thankyou to all adults who helped throughout the day.

Homework has been sent out this Monday!
