Term 2, Week 3! 22.11.24
A music extravaganza and snow to start the week off!
Music for Miniatures started our week off with a concert of live classical music! It showcased brass and woodwind instruments in a fun and engaging way. At the end, the children had the difficult decision of deciding who was best – brass or woodwind?
The snow brought great excitement to Kestrels. We love snow!
In English, we have continued looking at features of a non-chronological reports. Each day we have focused on different sections of a report from headings and subheadings, introductions, and end summary.
In Maths, we have started looking at multiplication. We have looked at making equal groups, repeated addition and what the multiplication symbol means.
In between all our wonderful learning, we have also been learning the songs for the EYFS/KS1 Nativity! We have loved singing the songs and creating actions and can’t wait to perform to you all.
Reminders:
- PE days are Monday and Wednesday.
