We loved taking part in the Santa Run today! All of Kestrels gave it their all and tried their best as this year they ran the big circuit. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and loved the hot chocolate and brownie at the end.

Our nativity rehearsals have been going extremely well. We did our first dress rehearsal today with all our amazing costumes and props. All the children are excited about performing our nativity for everyone next week!

In English, we started our whole school narrative hot-write. We used inspiration from the John Lewis Christmas advert of Buster the Boxer Dog to create ideas for a short narrative on ‘The Night the Animals Came to the Garden’. We are looking forward to finishing off our narratives next week!

Reminders:

• PE days are Monday and Wednesday.
• Please bring in reading books and reading records every day and read 5 times a week at home. Remember an adult needs to sign the reading records.
• Spellings will come home on Monday. Please practice these every day at home ready for our spelling test on Fridays.
