Term 4, Week 5! 28.03.25

We started the week off with a Victorian visitor! We went to school like it was in Victorian times and found out what they had to do, wear, learn and what equipment they used. We even found out about the different punishments children could get if they misbehaved!

We made and evaluated our healthy wraps this week in DT. The children loved adding their ingredients to their wraps but found wrapping the wrap challenging! When evaluating our wraps, we made sure to go back to the brief to see if we followed what was asked and we did! We all created a wrap that included protein, dairy and vegetables.

Kestrels loved their last session of forest school. We put all the skills we learnt from last week to be successful in creating our shelters quicker and more stable. Teamwork was tricky, but once we got going we all created great shelters/dens. Of course, we also loved roasting marshmallows to finish!

We ended our week by answering our big question in history - What did the Victorians achieved? We created mind maps / posters and used all our past learning to showcase our learning and answer the big question.
