Term 4, Week 6! 04.04.25

The children did so well in our Easter Service this week. They sang their hearts out with our fun Easter songs and said their prayers loud and clearly. It was wonderful!

We went out into the forest school area and field to look for microhabitats in Science this week. While we explored, we also thought about how animals and plants depend on each other to survive.

In maths, we finished our unit on statistics. We used our knowledge of tally charts, block diagrams and pictograms to interpret and answer questions about the tables and charts.

We loved the sunshine during our PE lessons this week. We explored different techniques to try and hula-hoop. Then we tried to see if we could roll the hoop close to us, skip with the hoop and see how many footsteps back we could go and do a two-footed jump into the hoop. We finished with seeing if we could throw the hoop in the air, clap, and catch the hoop. The children soon realised if they wanted to get two or three claps in, they had to throw the hoop gently and with control.

I hope you enjoy reading our Spring Term Celebration newsletter that went home with the children yesterday.
