Autumn 1 Week 7
And that is it! Owls have completed their first half-term at school!
Even though this final week was just two days, we still packed a lot in. The owls have been enjoying a variety of pumpkin-based activities, including painting pumpkins, painting and collaging pictures of pumpkins and hammering golf tees into pumpkins, all helping to develop their creativity and fine motor control.
We also enjoyed out last Welly Walk of the term! The children made 'nature bracelets'. This entailed them having some tape on their arm wrapped sticky side out, allowing them to collect lots of different things and stick them to their bracelets! The children found lots of wonders! Despite it being a bit wet and autumnal, we still found flowers, leaves in a whole variety of colours, feathers, acorns and berries!
Well done to our final star of the week for this term - Oscar! Oscar has worked really hard on everything during busy bee time this week, especially his rhyming words! Well done!
PE next term will be on Mondays and Fridays. Welly Walks will now be on Tuesdays. Have a wonderful half-term break and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 31st October.
