This week we read Oi Cat and continued our learning about rhyming words. Owls were fantastic at spotting rhyming words and creating their own rhyming sentences. In maths, we learnt about repeating patterns. We looked for patterns in our environment and made our own repeating patterns using loose parts. 

On our welly walk this week we used natural treasures to build our own fairy houses. I was very impressed with the Owls' imaginative creations and super team work!

Owls loved being scientists this week and carried out an experiment! We discussed the importance of hand washing and used pepper in water to represent germs. Owls could not believe their eyes when they saw the soap repel the germs! 

Well done to our star of the week Raffy! Raffy is fantastic at following all of our school promises and is such a kind friend. Well done Raffy!
