What a busy week! 

The Evil Pea has been causing lots more trouble in Owls! The owls decided that they needed to tell the rest of the school all about the chaos. We created wanted posters and thought of appropriate adjectives to describe the bad pea. 

In maths this week we have been representing 6, 7 and 8 in a variety of ways. We used 10 frames and could explain what we could see. The children used the sentence starter 'I can see 5 and...'. Owls loved listening to the story Six Dinner Sid and adding counters to a 10 frame. 

We loved dancing and singing on our new stage. This has encouraged the children to write for a variety of purposes. Owls have created band posters and stories linked to the role playing on the stage! 

Well done to the children who have read 5 times this week! We have given you star stickers!
