What a busy week!

This week we read books about people who help us and thought about the jobs we would like when we are grown-ups! Owls were fantastic at applying their knowledge of sounds when writing. 

In maths this week, we discussed time. We read Five Minutes Peace and investigated what we could do in 5 minutes. Owls learnt a song about the days of the week and thought about significant activities that they do each day. 

We celebrated Valentine's Day by making cards for our friends and creating our own salt heart pictures. Owls were fascinated by the effect the salt had on the paint! 

Reminders:

• PE next term will be on a Wednesday and Thursday. 
• Please read 5 times a week. We check reading records on a Friday!
• Please bring a water bottle to school each day.
