What a busy week!

This week we continued our learning about what life is like in different countries and visited Brazil. The Owls loved looking at pictures of Brazil and finding out about the Amazon rainforest. We wrote sentences about the animals from the rainforest and used adjectives to describe them. 

In maths, we have been looking at different compositions of 10. We discussed what we could see, the parts and the whole. Owls have loved investigating number bonds to 10. We used Numicon, uniifix and learnt a number bond to 10 song. 

Owls have loved using a variety of resources on the art table this week to make their own creations. We have had mixed media trees from the rainforest, oil pastel animals and even imaginative hats made from paper!
