We enjoyed a whole week based around anti-bullying and the theme of Choose Respect.

Falcons started off the week on Remembrance day when we discussed why we show respect on this particular day. The children enjoyed making their own poppies to display in our classroom to help us remember.

During the rest of the week, we continued to learn about respect and explore different ways in which we can show this. The children wrote in speech bubbles ways we can show respect and these are also displayed in the classroom to show that Falcons choose respect!

In Geography, we continued our learning about the UK. The children reminded themselves of the countries in the UK and drew the flags of each country along with writing that they are part of the UK. Falcons also got to explore the UK by using an atlas. Children choose to use these to help identify the cities and countries around us.

In Re, children discussed who they thought Jesus was and what he meant to them. They created their own versions of Jesus out of Playdough and described what he meant to them.
