Hi again Eagles,

I hope you are having a great week. Thank you so much for all your emails - you've been working so hard! I have loved the book covers, blood models and poems! I have posted some photos on the 'Gallery of Work' page so go and have a look!

Here is Alex's next quiz for you:

  2. Where is the biggest canyon in the solar system?
  3. How cold is space?
  4. What is the biggest waterfall in the world?
  5. What percent of the world is water?
  6. How long was the biggest iceberg?
  7. How wide was the largest hail stone?
  8. How many people live in the USA?
  9. How many people are born in an hour?
  10. How old is the oldest tree?

Remember, you can't use Google, that's cheating!!

I'll post the answers on Monday with next week's work.

Hello Eagles!

I hope you and your families enjoyed the VE day bank holiday weekend, what lovely sunshine we had!

Your parents were emailed our By Brook staff video over the weekend. I hope you have had a chance to watch it and it has made you smile. We had lots of fun videoing ourselves at home and school!

I have another video to share with you, this time from Trevor! Because he can't come in to give us an assembly, he has created a video for us - we are very lucky!

This week should have been your SATs week, a chance for you to showcase the fantastic learning you have done over KS2. Unfortunately you are unable to sit them, so instead I have set you a silly SATs paper - Lockdown SATs. There are lots of fun questions and silly challenges for you to enjoy. I know it isn't the same as the real SATs or the famous SATs party, but I hope it makes you laugh and you enjoy doing it. Feel free to email me your marks and photos of the challenges!

Here are the answers to Alex's Guinness Book of World Records Quiz from last week:

1 – Statue of Liberty

2 – Jeff Bezos

3 – Star Wars

4 – Bald eagle

5 – 1955

6 – The River Nile

7 – 6,650 KM (4,135 Miles)

8 – David Attenborough

If anyone else would like to set any quiz questions for the class, then let me know via email.

I'm setting up a gallery page on the website to share some of the photos of work that you have emailed so keep checking back here!

Enjoy your week; keep up the good work and positive attitudes. I'm really proud of you all :-)
