Week 8 1/06/20
Monday 1st June 2020
Welcome back Hawks,
I hope you all enjoyed a much needed rest and that you enjoyed some time doing the things you and your families enjoy doing together.
THANK YOU for all your wonderful pieces of writing from the "Blue Umbrella." I have almost finished putting together the story from all your writing, but as I had a few pieces come in over half term I need to make a few tweaks and add those. I can't wait to share our class story!
The start of Term 6 will be a little different as you know some children will be returning to school from today on a phased re-opening of schools. I will be in school each day teaching children from another class so your Home Learning will not be as prescriptive as it has been.
I will reply to your emails, and I do still want to have your weekly check ins and see pictures of what you have been up to because it really makes me smile, I might not reply as quickly!
This week I have set out a structured English, as most of you really enjoyed "The Blue Umbrella," I thought I'd keep a similar structure with us working towards something together as a class. This will roll onto next week.
Maths is the usual TTRS, MyMaths and some Rapid Reasoning.
Science, these are the last of the solids, liquids and gases experiments, I know you have had a lot of fun doing them, so I hope you get some good results with this set of fun ones!
We will return to History and The Romans again next week.
Pace yourself this week, spread out your learning and ease back into your routine!
